We were extremely disappointed after ordering the meal for two. The food was either watery or burnt. The service was poor and there was absolutely no atmosphere. One of the curry's was bright orange and we were ill in the morning. I have no idea where the 4.7 stars come from.

On a cold February, Monday night, The welcome was warm and lovely. As a single female travelling for work, the staff were welcoming, helpful, friendly and immediately put me at ease. The menu has lots of choice. I just wanted a main course but was tempted by a couple of cheeky popodams with lots of tasty dips. They did not skimp. I ordered a fragrant and medium spicy chicken lemon and coriander dish with chickpeas. It was absolutely melt in the mouth, delicious and the pilau rice was also fragrant and tasty. Really good value with a 660ml bottle of cobra the whole thing came to £27 including service charge. I will be back. Thanks Guys ❤️

It was okay. Not terribly awful but not wonderful either. Naan was too overcooked on one side, too burnt. Butter chicken sauce was good but oh my gawd, the chicken pieces were so stiff and difficult to cut or break. I was wondering if it was chicken even. Just too stiff. We didn't get served water. I noticed no table had that anyways. These are the main reasons this got a 3 star rating. The bathroom was clean. It's a small restaurant. Food came in a timely manner. We also had appetizers, onion bhagi, samosa and tandoori mixed grill. The tandoori was really good. Samosa and onion bhagi were average. The rice tasted very good. Better than the naan .

Ultimately very average. Onion bhaji was nice, popadums tasted a little stale, chicken tikka masala was good but the pasanda was quite bland.

Food was really yummy. We ordered Rogan Josh, Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Paratha, Garlic Naan, Coconut rice. The coconut rice especially was amazing! Perhaps not the most authentic, but better than most Indian restaurants in the UK that I've tried. Definitely recommend!!
